Day 12 - Karlovy Vary

Monday 6 June: Our last day in Karlovy Vary and we had a spa bath and massage - it's tough travelling. The spa uses the mineralised water, cooled to a bearable temperature in a stainless steel bathtub.  The size of the taps isn't an optical illusion, they are HUGE. It takes 20 minutes to soften you up, and then a light 10 minute massage to finish off - not bad.

Of course there is a long list of expensive beauty and 'health' treatments and consultations available here, from Botox to obeseology, and there's a procedure available for every orifice. We're off to another spa town, Bad Schandau in Saxony, Germany tomorrow - might get an irrigation.

Last photos from Karlovy Vary of the Russian Orthodox church of St. Peter and St.Paul (1897), jammed in among the many hotels.

A parting shot from Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, and we're off to Bad Schandau, Germany.
